Wiregrass Hope Group is looking for caring and compassionate individuals who want to get involved and help meet the needs of people in our community. Our organization relies heavily on the service and efforts of volunteers.  The following are a just a few of the many ways that you can further the work of Wiregrass Hope Group through volunteering.

  • Provide administrative assistance (Help with newsletter and mail-outs).
  • Serve as a mentor to pregnancy clients or be a dad mentor.
  • Serve as a volunteer receptionist (Answer phones, greet clients, help with filing and making copies).
  • Distribute promotional items/ brochures to churches, schools, and businesses.
  • Serve as a church/organization liaison.

  • Serve as a sorter and fluffer in our donation in-take area.
  • Provide web-site design and editing.
  • Take home laundry (wash baby clothers, maternity clothes, ect.)
  • Baking cookies/casseroles for special events such as tours, meetings, ect.

Other ways to volunteer

  • Make crocheted or knitted baby booties (newborn size) to be given to our pregnant clients. The booties remind them of the precious life they are carrying.
  • Host a Baby Shower for Women’s Hope Center in your church or organization.  All baby items donated will distributed to our pregnant clients through  our Preparing for Your Baby Programs.  Click on the Donation tab for a complete list of baby items needed for our clients.
